Car Racing Travis Pastrana

Car Racing...

This is my favorite arcade game in my computer. When I'm in mall, I usually play the car racing in timezone. And playing car racing is certainly an expensive game (but its okay!!).  In a real world of racing I really like to watch Travis Pastrana, an American  motocross and stunt performer. He also played car racing though.

We actually don't have a cabled tv at home so I always search his games in the internet.

Travis Pastrana had a board night racing just last month - January, 2012 (the video above)

He won many awards since year 2005 until now. His tricks in playing such is amazing.

Let's have a travel

The Departure

Traveling isn't a hobby I have yet I made it once. This travel is called Educational Tour in Cebu. Since we won't be using a plane in the travel, I need to wake up by 5:00am cause I need to be in school by 6:00am.

Marahan, Marilog, Davao City
By 7:00am, we depart from school. It takes ten hours travel from Davao to Cagayan. I can't really imagine the thing. What I like in riding a bus is the beautiful views I can see.

Looking outside made me amazed. It's as if I'm not the Philippines particularly in Davao. Looks like I'm in New Zealand. Amazing. The hills and the fogs were very natural.  It was really nice that I thought nine hours seems to be an hour travel with mother earth. This place is far more different in the place where I stayed a lot - the downtown area of Davao. Fresh air is rampant here.

Actually, I've been here when I was still in my high school days and now I saw it again. It made me reminisce the past.Well, so much with the past. This new adventure with my life won't be complete and memorable without my colleagues with me - my Software Engineering classmates and friends. They made the tour more fun and enjoy.

"Being with nature is simply one of a kind!"

This is freak. Of course we can't go to Cebu by using a bus on the sea... That's not possible. The ship is on... This is my first time on a ship.

The Arrival and the Voyage

19th floor of Crown Regency
Arrival in Cebu is such a freak thingy. Cebu is really different from Davao. That's a real thing. The traffic and the industrialized city. Lot of buildings were found here and they are found anywhere. Here's the thing, this place is really a developing city.

I hardly saw trees here because of the buildings around. This place is somewhat like Korea. Koreans are found anywhere - in mall, in the street, anywhere. The malls were enormously very large and the hotels are found anywhere.

I can really say that Cebu City is the center of technology and education. Lots of colleges and universities were found here. Thus, the schools present here is simply one of a kind. They were build in a high structure and they were like a big buildings found everywhere.

Taoist Temple, Cebu City
I've been in place where silence is a must - the Taoist Temple. This is really an amazing place to meditate. This place is where I can really say that I am in China. In order to go to the temple we need to climb to the 81 steps.

I tried to make a wish cause they said that when we wish something, it would con true. However, when I ask permission to make a wish the answer of the two blocks is a big "NO". Well, its okay no problem maybe its not yet my time to make a wish.

A place where Magellan and Lapu-lapu fight
Mactan, a place where Ferdinand Magellan and Lapu-lapu fought. This is a historical place where I could really say that Cebu is a history. The statue of Lapu-lapu is considered as the most visited statue here in Cebu.
Statue of Lapu-lapu

The big sculpture of Lapu-lapu is found not far from the place  where the fight occur. The statue symbolizes the victory of our very own Lapu-lapu. The history holds the story of the Philippines and the birth of Christianity. As the history says, the birth of Christianity started in Cebu City where Ferdinand Magellan first land.

Speaking of Christianity...
I made it to the oldest church in the Philippines. The church is really old yet the people living here preserve its identity and the structure is really nice. There are lots of paintings in the doorway and the door has an emboss sculpture. There are lots of devotee. In Davao, we have San Pedro Church  which we considered as the largest church here is far more different in the church they have. From the structure to the statues they have.

Basilica del Santo Niño
There is also a cross there which is not really far from the church. The cross is a replica of the original cross where Ferdinand Magellan brought here in the Philippines.

"This is History."
The history holds the past and is preserve in the present to regain its value for the future.

The Hotel

A place to stay...

We stayed in Montebello Villa Hotel in Banilad, Cebu City. The  structure of the hotel is like a Mediterranean style where vintage is applied. The place itself is very unique and silence. Though, it's not the 5star hotel and a 20 story hotel that I expected, the place is like a home. There is a garden and a pool outside the hotel certainly is and the rooms are clean and nature smell. The hotel is just a 3 story hotel.

The location is not located across the road so fresh air is here. I like it here though there is no elevator.

The Closing Stages of the tour

Before we went back to our homeland Davao, we went to Dahilayan, Bukidnon. A perfect place to relax and recreate. Many things are found here like the Zip Line, Bogger and many more. The place is chilly because the place is on the top of the hill. Pines are everywhere which I conclude that this is the Baguio City in Mindanao.

The trip is a real fun and exiting because of the places we have visited.
